We are committed to providing the latest technologies to help our patients correct cataract-affected vision. This is why we provide a selection of today's most advanced intraocular lens products.
Crystalens
The Crystalens IOL flexes similarly to the natural lens of the eye, providing greatly enhanced focusing abilities at a range of distances. The Crystalens IOL offers excellent accommodation abilities. Accommodation refers to the ability to focus on objects at near and far distances. Our eyes perform this task by bending and flexing the lens of the eye to focus light as needed. With the help of the eye's ciliary muscles, the Crystalens IOL can bend and flex in much the same way, helping to improve accommodation abilities.
ReSTOR
Like other IOLs, ReSTOR lenses are used to replace the clouded cataract lens of the eye. Unlike other IOLs, the ReSTOR lens uses a series of tiered steps to help patients focus at a variety of distances. The ReSTOR IOL has a thin outer layer and a thicker layer at the center of the lens. In between is a series of layers of varying thicknesses, each of which helps provide the ability to focus at different distances. This technology helps to correct the clouding associated with cataracts and reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses.
ReZoom
The ReZoom intraocular lens is an excellent treatment option for those suffering from presbyopia. Like other IOLs, ReZoom is also used for patients with cataracts. The ReZoom lens incorporates multiple focal points to help patients see objects far away and very close up. ReZoom intraocular lenses allow us to correct cataract-affected vision, improve focusing ability in presbyopic patients, and reduce the need for reading glasses.
